Youth Art Class

Tuition reserves your place in the studio for the same day and time over consecutive weeks.

We work in four-week sessions rather than calendar months, with 12 sessions each year.

Youth Art Classes at Greg Storer Art Studio & School provide a supportive and creative environment where young artists develop drawing, painting, and observation skills while having fun. Students learn through demonstrations, hands-on exercises, creative projects, and individual guidance within a small group setting.

For more than 30 years, Greg Storer Art has helped students build confidence, creativity, and technical skills while encouraging personal expression and a lifelong appreciation for art. Classes welcome beginners as well as students with previous experience.

How Classes Are Structured

Classes begin with creative time and personal projects. For students who need inspiration, we provide a weekly creative challenge to help generate ideas and encourage exploration.

Students then participate in demonstrations, exercises, and guided instruction designed to strengthen drawing and painting skills. Each student receives individual guidance appropriate to their age, experience, and interests.

Students progress at their own pace while developing observation skills, creativity, confidence, and technical ability in a supportive studio environment.

Materials Provided

Students have access to a wide variety of materials including drawing paper, watercolor, tempera, graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastels, and mixed-media supplies. Most materials are provided by the studio, allowing students to explore a variety of techniques and media.
